Create a VPC and its first subnet

Enter a name, select Linux bridge and NAT, and set the address range. Check that the VPC and its first subnet appear after creation.

Open a recording directly:

Create a VPC and its first subnet · Open original recording

Enter a name, select Linux bridge and NAT, and set the address range. Check that the VPC and its first subnet appear after creation.

Add a second subnet · Open original recording

Add another address range to the VPC. Review both subnets and their creation state.

Attach VMs and assign IP addresses · Open original recording

Attach two VMs using an automatic IP and a requested IP. Start the VMs and verify their attachment state and guest addresses.

Verify VM traffic and NAT · Open original recording

Test gateway and cross-subnet traffic, then external DNS, ICMP, and HTTPS through NAT. Check that host management ports and unpublished inbound connections remain blocked.

Configure security and service publishing · Open original recording

Configure a security policy and Service Publish to expose a VM service. The next recording compares access from allowed and disallowed clients.

Compare allowed and blocked clients · Open original recording

Connect to the same service from an allowed and a disallowed client. Check that the configured policy produces successful access or a blocked connection.

Isolate outbound traffic and restore NAT · Open original recording

Remove service publishing and switch to ISOLATED. Verify that internal traffic still works while external ICMP and HTTPS are blocked, then restore NAT and external access.

Switches, ports, DHCP, and L2 traffic · Open original recording

Create a logical switch and ports and configure DHCP. Check address allocation and L2 connectivity within the switch.

Subnet routing, SNAT, and one-to-one NAT · Open original recording

Connect subnets through a logical router. Check inter-subnet traffic, SNAT, and one-to-one NAT. NAT tests use a separately prepared gateway fixture.

ACL blocking, recovery, and isolation · Open original recording

Add a drop ACL in the Web UI to block ICMP, then restore traffic with a higher-priority allow rule. Check invalid input rejection and isolation between logical switches using the same CIDR.

Remove resources and check final state · Open original recording

Clean up the OVN resources created during testing. Review the final resource lists and network state to check that test resources are gone.

Create VXLAN and inspect its state · Open original recording

Create a VXLAN network and inspect its name, VNI, and address range. The recorded result panel also shows network state and local connectivity checks.

Connect peers and test real VM traffic · Open original recording

Add peers on both hosts and test bidirectional traffic between real KVM VMs. Review ping results, VXLAN packet capture, and counters in the result panel.

Remove a peer, then reconnect · Open original recording

Remove a peer on one host and check that VM traffic stops. Confirm that the other host’s configuration is preserved, then add the peer again and verify recovery.

Recover after restart and clean up · Open original recording

Restart the daemon and verify restored VXLAN and peer state and VM traffic. Finally remove NICs, peers, and overlays and check for leftover test resources.
